The School Day

The structure of our day

No two days are the same at Chorlton Park but this is the general shape of our school day:

8.50 Children arrive, parents and carers welcomed into classrooms
9.00 Doors close, school secured and the school day begins
9.10 Morning assembly (when timetabled)
10.25 -10.45  Playtime for KS1 and Y3
10:50-11.10 Playtime for Y4/Y5/Y6
11.40-12.40 Lunchtime for EYFS/Key Stage 1 and Y3
12.45-1.45 Lunchtime for Key Stage 2
2.00-2.15 Afternoon play for Key Stage 1  and Y3

End of school day - Foundation Stage
End of school day - Key Stage 1 and Year 3
End of school day - Years 4, 5 and 6

3.30+ After-school clubs

 

Early Years - 31 hours 40 minutes

KS1 and Year 3 - 32 hours 5 minutes

KS2 - 32 hours 30 minutes.
